Patriot Sportfishing is the sportfishing landing at Port San Luis, at Pier 3 near Harford Pier. Boats go out every day that weather, season and the schedule allow.
Trips and prices
Trips run from 5 hours ($90) to 12 hours ($160), with 8-hour ($110), 8-hour crab and cod ($120) and 10-hour ($140) trips in between. Adults and kids pay the same. Rod rentals, tackle and licenses aren't included, and you pay for them on the day. Call (805) 595-7200 to book. A reservation needs a full deposit, and it becomes non-refundable 48 hours before the trip.
What they catch
Most trips work the reefs for rockfish and lingcod. On October 18, 2026, the Patriot's morning half-day trip came back with 27 anglers and 64 rockcod, 19 bocaccio, 18 copper rockfish and 10 lingcod. Counts are posted daily, so check before you book.
Winter whale watching
