Avila Beach House

Avila Beach House is the all-suites hotel at 550 Front Street, across from the sand and a block from the pier. Until 2026 it was Avila Lighthouse Suites. A renovation and rebrand gave it a new name and refreshed suites at the same address.

The suites

All 54 rooms are suites with a separate living room and a mini-kitchen, and many have ocean views. The range runs from one-bedroom suites with a big balcony and two fireplaces to two-bedroom suites of about 1,100 square feet. Oceanfront suites sit closest to the beach. Pool View suites are steps from the pool, and Park View suites look toward the Bob Jones Trail and the Central Coast Aquarium. Accessible suites are available too.

Pool, breakfast and parking

There's a heated oceanfront pool and hot tub, continental breakfast, and underground self-parking, a big plus in a town where parking fills fast. Confirm parking fees when you book. The hotel also has nearly 4,900 square feet of event space for weddings and groups. See Weddings.

Why stay here

Location and space. You're across the street from the main beach, the playground and Front Street's restaurants, and a suite gives a family room to spread out. If you want something smaller, compare the other hotels and inns, or look at vacation rentals for a whole house.
